About your new web guy..Midwest Web Works was founded in 2000 by then hobbyist designer Bill Lorence. What started as an interest quickly became an obsession. A lot has changed in these few years but one thing that hasn't is our commitment to provide impressive web presence solutions to even those who think they can't afford it. We all know that in this day and age every company regardless of product or service is not only expected to have web presence, but to have it up to date, attractive and functional. Our goal is to make that happen for you regardless of how small your company is or how big your needs are.
Our "team" consists of owner/developer Bill Lorence and friends who specialize in other aspects of the biz and work as subcontractors. We all work from home and we don't have salesmen, account reps or a receptionist. By not employing a full-time staff we're able to keep our costs far below the competition, which admittedly is an unfair advantage, but it works in your favor so why cry about it? Take advantage! In fact, some of our competition takes advantage of us too, but we're not complaining :)
As you can tell, we do business differently than most. We know we won't appeal to every company, especially those who require lots of butt-kissing. We don't hound you to move forward with your project. We don't try to milk you for every penny we think we can get. I doesn't matter to us if you run a non-profit org or used car dealership. We build and host good websites for a good price, and that's what we do...
